I’m a ceramic artist from the Netherlands,
located on the Silver Coast of Portugal.

Each of my items are crafted with great care and attention to detail, by using a variety of hand building techniques. Therefore, every product is unique with its own personal character.

My work is characterized by the use of vibrant colours and playful shapes, and I enjoy experimenting with organic forms and textures. In my work I find it important to maintain human touch and keep small imperfections visible. By doing this, I aim to create truly unique pieces for your home that will last for years.

A little bit more about me: 

I graduated from the art academy in Rotterdam in 2016. During this period, I developed a deep passion for crafts and design. A few years after finishing this study, I worked for nearly 5 years as a product designer at a large home accessoires brand. My passion for ceramics continued to grow over the years, leading me to establish Studio Elsa.
